WHO ARE WE?

The BIPoC Alliance is the largest coalition of BIPoC filmmakers in the German-speaking DACH region, created to amplify representation, visibility, and collaboration in the film industry.

Founded during Berlinale 2024, our network connects emerging and established talents, fostering knowledge sharing, networking, and community-building opportunities.

Through our initiatives, we aim to empower BIPoC creatives by breaking down systemic barriers...

...creating platforms for authentic storytelling, and building bridges within the industry. In collaboration with the Berlinale and key partners, we provide workshops, masterclasses, and celebratory events, offering tools to inspire change and drive diversity.

Our annual programs include masterclasses…

…on inclusive filmmaking, networking sessions with industry professionals, and events like theReception x Berlinale Connect and the vibrant "SILK & SWEAT" Party, celebrating the resilience and creativity of BIPoC communities.

Together, we are reshaping the future of film, ensuring that diverse voices are not just heard but celebrated on a global stage.
